BIO:

Jamel came into Yoga seeking a physical practice but shortly realized there was more to it. He realized that this is a practice that can better improve the comprehension of his mental and physical self. With this realization, he dedicated his practice not to just himself but others in his community. Jamel’s goal is to bring Yoga and Mindfulness to all communities, as he believes it's a powerful tool for everyone.

His current practice consists of mindful-based vinyasa movements, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga for Children, Reiki, Aromatherapy, and Herbalism. He invites folks to engage in self-inquiry, observation, noticing, acknowledging, and finally, perhaps appreciating the experiences, whether it's physical, emotional, or spiritual.
