Introduction to Ashtanga (appropriate for all levels, including beginners)

Learn and explore the Ashtanga Primary Series from which vinyasa yoga originated. Suitable for all levels, this workshop will guide students through the series with the traditional focus on breath, bandhas, and drishti . Through this disciplined practice, we will cultivate a meditative state through intelligent and vigorous asana that can also serve as a template for self-study and home-practice.
