While joyous, the holidays can be stressful. Often, we don’t live up to our best selves. In order to be present and loving with those we love – as well as ourselves, we need to prepare ourselves and cultivate a varied tool box. This time around, carve out the time to find ways to stay centered, loving and connected.
For the past 15 years, Megan Mook has immersed herself in the study of Buddhist philosophy and meditation, living and studying with teachers in the Zen, Theravada, and Tibetan traditions. Megan holds a Masters in Buddhist Studies from the International Buddhist College in Thailand, and has studied Tibetan scriptural translation with Drs. Robert Thurman and Lozang Jamspal of Columbia University. She writes about yoga and meditation and teaches throughout New York City.
