Brooklyn Yoga Project is not just another yoga studio. It is an intimate, boutique-style space offering heated, low-heat and unheated vinyasa flow, yin, Iyengar-inspired and restorative yoga classes. Our highly experienced instructors not only teach this practice, they live it, breathe it and embody what yoga is - union, enlightenment and tranquility. I've never done heated yoga before. What should I expect?
Come well hydrated, be prepared to sweat and leave feeling rejuvenated.
What should i bring?
Bring a yoga mat, a towel, a bottle of water and a change of clothes.
Do you have mats, towels and water for rent?
For your first visit, mat and towels rentals are complimentary, after that the rental fee is $2 per item. We have a water filtration system, as well as water bottles for rent. We can also accommodate a forgotten tank-top!
What if I'm running late?
Call the studio (917.919.0412) to give us a heads up, if we can we will set your mat up and let you in after Om's.
if i'm brand new to yoga, what class should i take?
All of our classes are led for all levels, our instructors are well versed in modifications as well as injuries. Please let the instructor know if you are newer to the practice, or if you have any injuries that you need assistance with.
