Nora is a Brooklyn-based yoga and meditation teacher. She is interested in sharing yoga as a multi-dimensional practice exploring dynamic asana, restorative, pranayama, meditation, sound, deep listening, philosophy, and yogic ethics. She is passionate about environmental consciousness, animal rights, veganism, species and gender equality. In her free time she studies and plays music on the didgeridoo, handpan, and djembe. She also works as a volunteer at the Wild Bird Fund, NYC's only licenced wildlife rehabilitation center.
Nora has taught classes, workshops, and retreats since 2007 and facilitates the Philosophy and Subtle Body Teacher Training at YogaWorks NYC. She also teaches didgeridoo classes through DidgeProject Brooklyn. Before moving to NYC in 2013, she lived in Germany and The Netherlands, working as a choreographer, performance artist, and yoga teacher.
