Ethan Seidel

class type:

Vinyasa Flow

teaching style:

Alignment Based, Hands-On, Integrative

Ethan grew up just outside of Philadelphia, taking every chance to play sports, run, and stay physically active. As a teenager he was diagnosed with scoliosis, which ultimately required a spinal fusion surgery. This major life event set off a long road of physical, mental, and spiritual self discovery.

In 2014, Ethan stumbled into his first vinyasa class in Brooklyn and was instantly hooked. The combination movement and breath provided a mini oasis away from the day-to-day noise of living and working in NYC. Ethan completed his 200 hr teacher training in 2017 under the guidance of Tamara Behar, Connor Yates, and Derek Cook. His classes emphasize alignment, conscious breathing, and hands on assists to allow students to fully tune into their body-mind.

In addition to his 200 hr training, Ethan is completing a 100 hr Functional Awareness program at BYP with Allegra & Nancy Romita. He has completed several trainings in Katonah Yoga lead by Alex Sharry and Melissa French, and is a E-RYT 200 yoga teacher registered with Yoga Alliance.
