Bio:

A life built on movement, first with gymnastics and classical ballet to follow, yoga made its debut into Hillary's life as a therapeutic remedy to a dance related knee injury. The moment she stepped into a yoga studio and moved her body with expression led by her breath, she never returned to the mirror filled world of professional ballet.

On her journey over the past 6 years there have been many teachers guiding her path of uniting soul, heart, body and mind. In 2010 she attended the ISHTA 200hr training where alignment, mediation and breathe made space in her life for healing to begin. Shortly thereafter she decided to spread the gifts she was experiencing to children and young adults by attending the Little Flower Yoga training program (yoga specific training for kids 4-18 yrs old within the NYC education system). In the summer of 2012, she blended her passions for community action, social change and wellbeing by joining the Off the Mat, Into the World organization for their leadership in action training and then their advanced training in social justice.

Always looking to stay a student, in the summer of 2014 she was part of the inaugural vinyasa teacher training at Prema Yoga Brooklyn.

Whether Hillary is leading a small group of middle school students or older kids (also know to some as adults!) she brings joy, spaciousness and a deep sense of each individual being able to practice embodying their full and complete self.
